Leaky taps & burst pipes
A tap that drips once a second wastes around 30 litres a day. A pipe that bursts wastes a ceiling. Either way, we stop the water first and talk you through the fix second.
Fixed at the source, not patched over
Most leaks announce themselves far from where they start — a stain on the ceiling, a warm patch on the floor, a water bill that quietly doubled. Our technicians trace the run before opening anything, so the hole in your wall is the size of the problem, not the size of a guess.
Once found, we repair with pressure-rated fittings and test the line before we leave. If a section is too far gone, we will show you the pipe and price a partial re-run on the spot.
What a visit covers
- Mixer, basin and kitchen tap repairs or full replacement
- Leak tracing with moisture readings before any hacking
- Burst pipe isolation and same-day permanent repair
- Concealed piping re-runs in wall or ceiling
- Pressure test and cleanup included in the quoted price
Calls we get most
“My ceiling has a brown ring”
Usually a bathroom above — either a failed floor trap seal or a weeping joint. We trace it from below before touching the tiles.
“The tap drips even when closed hard”
A worn cartridge or seat. Forcing it makes it worse. A replacement cartridge usually settles it in one visit.
“Water bill doubled, no visible leak”
Classic concealed leak. We isolate sections at the meter to confirm, then trace the wet run with moisture readings.
Water where it should not be?
Shut the main valve, then send us a photo — we will tell you honestly how urgent it is.
