The crew behind the vans

Two trades, one team — and a name that came from the first office: a tiny studio unit at the top of Taman Melawati’s hill.

How PeakStudio started

In 2017, master plumber Faizal Omar and chargeman Jason Teoh were subcontracting for the same renovation firm and kept fixing the same complaint from opposite ends: homeowners who had waited all day for a contractor who never came, then paid a price that had grown on the drive over.

They pooled their savings and rented the cheapest office they could find — a studio unit on the highest street in Taman Melawati. Clients started saying “the studio on the peak” before the signboard was even up, and the name stuck.

Eight technicians and two vans later, the rules from that studio have not changed: quote in writing before work starts, message when you are on the way, and leave the site cleaner than you found it.

  • Every quote in writing, before work begins
  • SPAN-accredited plumbing leads, ST-registered wiremen
  • Arrival window confirmed — and honoured
  • Floor sheets down, rubbish taken away, always

What we believe about this trade

The diagnosis is the job

Parts are easy; knowing which part is the point. We would rather spend twenty minutes testing than an hour replacing the wrong thing at your expense.

Homes are not job sites

Someone lives where we work. Shoes off, sheets down, noise kept to agreed hours — and we tell you before we shut off water or power, not after.

Warranties should mean something

Ours are written on the receipt, not implied over the phone. If the fault returns inside the window, so do we — free.

Put a face to the fix

The person who quotes your job is the person who does it. That is the whole model.
