These terms govern services provided by Peakstudio Works Sdn. Bhd. (registration 202201035816 (1470252-K)) and your use of peakstudio.my. Booking a visit or accepting a quote means you accept them.

1. Quotes and pricing

Every job is priced in writing after on-site inspection, before work begins. A quote covers the described scope, parts listed and workmanship. Quotes remain valid for 14 days. If opening up reveals a materially different problem — for example, a corroded pipe run behind the one leak we were shown — work pauses and a revised quote is issued for your approval. You are never charged beyond an approved quote.

2. Inspection fees

Where a visit involves diagnosis (leak tracing, electrical fault-finding), the call-out and inspection fee is stated when you book. If you proceed with the quoted repair, the inspection fee is absorbed into the job price.

3. Scheduling and access

We confirm a two-hour arrival window for every visit. You agree to provide access to the property and, where a building management requires it, to arrange permits or lift bookings in time. If we arrive within the window and cannot access the property, a re-visit fee may apply.

4. Your responsibilities

You confirm you are entitled to authorise work at the property (as owner or with the owner’s consent). Please tell us in advance about known hazards — asbestos ceilings, unlabelled live circuits, renovation works — that could affect safety or scope.

5. Warranty

Workmanship is warranted for 90 days on repairs and 12 months on new installations, both stated on your receipt. The warranty covers our workmanship and parts we supplied; it does not cover unrelated faults, customer-supplied parts, or damage caused by misuse, third-party work or force majeure. Manufacturer warranties on appliances pass to you directly.

6. Liability

We carry public liability insurance and make good any damage we cause. Beyond that, our total liability for any claim is capped at the value of the job concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

7. Payment

Payment is due on completion unless agreed otherwise in writing. We accept cash, DuitNow transfer, Touch ’n Go eWallet and major cards. Larger projects (rewires, multi-day works) may be staged: deposit, progress and completion payments as set out in the quote.

8. Cancellations

Cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 4 working hours before your window. Later cancellations may incur the call-out fee. Our own cancellations (technician illness, emergency jobs overrunning) are notified as early as possible and re-booked at your convenience with priority.

9. Website

Content on peakstudio.my is general information, not a survey of your property. Handbook articles are practical guidance offered in good faith; work on live electrical systems and pressurised pipework should be carried out by licensed persons.

10. Governing law
